I founded this company in early 2016 while simultaneously working in the corporate HR space. However, it was during a reorganization in October 2022 that I realized the potential of combining my side business, HR master's degree, and PCC coaching certification to assist leaders in medium to large organizations full-time.
In addition to my professional background, I am a seasoned speaker, and podcast host. I have a deep understanding of leadership complexities and effective communication, and can inspire and motivate teams through impactful speaking events, workshops, and storytelling that resonates on a profound level.

Chapter 1: Starting the Side Hustle
I was nine years into tirelessly climbing the corporate ladder at Target when my entire life changed for the first time. I was interviewing for a dream position in the company, and as I was waiting for my name to be called for the interview, I felt a surge of nerves. But it wasn't just ordinary jitters—I knew before entering that room that if I accepted this role, I’d regret it.
For the first time, I knew I no longer wanted to climb the corporate ladder, and it was at that pivotal moment that I made a life-altering decision. I chose to leave the comfort of the corporate world behind and venture into the unknown.
I packed up my life and moved from Florida to Denver, Colorado, where I surrounded myself with friends who shared my desire for something more. Together, we embarked on a journey of self-discovery and entrepreneurship. While working for a smaller corporate company, I established my own business, Element of Change. Within the span of a year, I received my coaching certification and became known as the Corporate Side Hustler.
Chapter 2: Unveiling the Missing Piece
Chapter 2 marked a new phase in my life—a phase filled with both excitement and uncertainty.
I was planning my wedding to my childhood best friend, which was full of excitement. However, I found myself overwhelmed with the thought of handling my full-time HR role and the marketing for my side hustle while starting a family.
This led to the decision of hiring a social media manager who could assist me while I was planning the wedding and on our honeymoon. It started off incredible, my account grew from 6k to 25k, and this growth brought numerous opportunities! I was ecstatic—until she turned out to be dishonest.
The moment I let her go, my engagement plummeted. She was leveraging her network and engagement bots to inflate my engagement. Frustration and anger washed over me, but they also ignited a fire within me.
During this time, I moved back to Florida, welcomed two beautiful daughters, and established my own social media agency—until I felt a craving for more.
I didn’t want to become known for Instagram, I realized that my true passion lay in helping others avoid pitfalls and find their own path to success. So, I pivoted once again, this time shifting my focus to helping corporate women unlock their potential and create thriving side hustles. I found deep fulfillment in guiding them behind the scenes, empowering them to step into their dreams and redefine success on their terms.

Chapter 3: Embracing the Shift
As life began to settle down, I found my groove in raising my toddlers and regained a sense of balance as a post-COVID human, embracing the joy of traveling once again. With this newfound stability, I made the decision to put my podcast on hold. It became clear to me that I desired greater synergy—a side business that would support my passion in my day job. Slowly but surely, everything started falling into place.
Just when I thought things were aligning perfectly, Meta, the company of my dreams, reached out and offered me a dream job. I battled this decision, and my boss advised me against taking the role, believing I still had more work to do in my current position. This news hit me hard, and I spent two weeks in tears as I grappled with the decision. Ultimately, I turned down the Meta job offer, making a pact with my boss that if she ever decided to leave, she should inform me first.
Exactly one year later, during a team call, my boss dropped the bombshell that she would be leaving the organization—without telling me first. The following Monday after her departure, I received the news that my own role was being eliminated due to reorganization in the company.
Faced with this reality, I had to make a choice—either shift internally or leave the company altogether. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of my experience with the SHIFT.
In the face of uncertainty, I made the courageous decision to wholeheartedly embrace the SHIFT, knowing that it would be one of the biggest choices of my life. It was a pivotal moment, filled with weeks of contemplation, introspection, and more tears.
During this process, I had the realization that I could become a guiding force for others on their own journey of transformation. By harnessing everything I had already built within my business, I could unlock the desired synergy between my entrepreneurial pursuits and corporate responsibilities on my own terms. I was ready to go all in.

Licensed Practitioner for The 5 Behaviors: With this certification, I can effectively guide teams in addressing common dysfunctions and fostering a more cohesive and high-performing team environment.
IQ9 Enneagram Certification: Equipped with a deep understanding of the Enneagram framework, I assist individuals and teams in self-awareness, personal growth, and interpersonal dynamics.
My mission is to leverage my extensive experience as an HR Leader to empower and guide fellow leaders through the transformative process I refer to as the SHIFT.
